  Nobody can deny we are living strange times, too strange in my opinion, but life is strange. It is filled with uncertainty, especially at this moment and even though we might not wish to acknowledge it, uncertainty is an unavoidable part of life.  Very little about our lives is constant or totally certain, and while we have control over many things, we can’t control everything that happens to us.   This is the reason why so many people like routines, because you know that some things are always there.  Sticking to a  routine  or a detailed schedule is one of the ways people  can feel  like  we have some control over the world around us. It provides us with a shield between what we can and cannot regulate – which is soothing to our  nervous system.  Attending lessons (and teaching them)  at the EOI is part of our shared routine.   Jedes Jahr, den 27. Januar, die UNESCO zollt die Opfer des Holocausts Tribut und positioniert sich wieder gegen Antisemitismus, Rassismus und Unverträglichkeit in allgemeine. Den 27. Januar erinnert sich man an die Befreiung 1945 von Auswitz- Birkenau, deswegen hat man diesen Tag, der Tag des Gedenkens der Opfer des Holocausts gewählt. In der Bibliothek haben wir einige Filme und Bücher über das Thema, wie zum Beispiel: der Comic Berlin und die Serie Babylon, die über das Scheitern der Weimarer Republik und die Polarisierung der Gesellschaft sprechen und verschiedene Bücher und Filme, die über die Nazi-Zeit erzählen oder Filme wie die Welle, die den Prozess, der die Deutsche erleben haben, erklären, damit sich nie wiederholt.

  Babylon Berlin  ist eine deutsche Kriminal-Fernsehserie. Regie führen Tom Tykwer Achim von Borries und Henk Handloegten. Hauptdarsteller sind Volker Bruch in der Rolle des Kommissars Gereon Rath und Liv Lis Fries als Charlotte „Lotte“ Ritter, die ebenfalls bei der Polizei arbeitet. Die Drehbücher der ersten beiden Staffeln basieren frei auf Volker Kutschers Kriminalroman Der nasse Fisch ,  der im Berlin der Weimarer Republik spielt.
